Frequently Asked Questions

I won’t mislead you. If you are breaking habits like rocking or feeding to sleep, there will probably be some crying involved. There are gentle methods included, which can limit crying. After about 2 to 3 weeks, crying should subside and it won’t be a regular thing!

My plan is designed to get your baby sleeping independently and through the night within 3 weeks! There will always be off nights, but my goal is for you to be well-rested the majority of the time!

If you follow the plan and implement everything correctly, you should see results within 2 to 3 weeks. The time it takes will depend on your baby, the method you choose, and how consistent you are.

It’s totally normal to have questions about your baby and their new sleep habits! Our Facebook group is full of helpful information as well as access to me to help you in the midst of sleep training!

Yes! You can absolutely continue to nurse your baby. I’ll just ask you to move your nursing sessions away from sleep times and avoid nursing your baby to sleep.

Yes! Some babies still need a middle of the night feeding or two up until 6 months old. Check with your pediatrician if your baby can start going longer stretches at night. If they say yes, then I’ll walk you through how to do it!

Naps can be their own little beast apart from night time sleep and we cover them too! We have instructions how to nap train and when to do it as well as how to get your baby on a good nap schedule!

Yes! I would recommend starting on a weekend (or when you have a few consecutive days off) and then asking daycare to work with your baby’s new routine. We include printable schedules that you can take to daycare as well.
